“For so many days, our prayer was simply that the Lord would spare Brian’s life, and He did. Then, we prayed that his kidneys would recover and not continue to require dialysis, and they did. Then, we prayed that his lungs would recover from the ARDS, and they did. Then he suffered the brain injury, and we started over at square one… begging the Father to spare his life. Once again, He did. Then, we prayed with all of our might that the Lord would simply allow B to wake up again, and He did. Then we asked God to help him talk again, and he did. Then we asked the Lord to help him have the ability to walk again, and he did. Over and over and over, the Father’s provisions have been perfect. They are perfect in His timing, not ours.
