I just watched 2 hours of Private Practice and pretty much bawled my eyes out the entire episode. Good, trying to catch my breath, big tear cries. I really love those good cries. We joke in this house that Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice are my crying outlets. I get mad when they have happy episodes because I don’t get a good cry in.

This song was featured in the episode and in the awesome movie, The Help. I love the lyrics. It’s gonna be a long, long journey. It’s gonna be an uphill climb. It’s gonna be tough…But I’m the Living Proof.

So true. Looking back now, I am living proof that Christ is faithful. I am living proof that you can survive. That it is going to get worse before it gets better…but one day it WILL get better.

So, I’m all stinkin’ emotional now. Ignore the sappiness. Just enjoy the music. Ignore the big picture of Mary J. Just close your eyes and be grateful.
